... it home very slow(maybe a mile down the road) shut it off and waited 2 days to start it.. Then.. my heart sank, heard a rod knock. The knock goes away when put into gear, runs at about 30 oil pressure.. =( I drove it up and down the road and when I let off the gas the oil dropped to 0 INSTANTLY ...
Very weird I had same problem at times with 2.5 level but when I raised the truck up to the 3.5 lift in the front it went away....and I haven't touched the brakes at all. I also thought I warped the brake rotors but no problems since...
... you sway bar bushings. If they are worn/compressed you will experience more body roll. They sell replacement kits pretty cheap and I would stay away from poly ones as they tend to squeak. You have almost 10 years on truck so I am sure the rubber grommets are shot.
... I filled her up with Castrol High Mileage at the time, but I'll be switching to Amsoil Synthetic. Found a shop that sells Amsoil 15 minutes away from the house
I have never heard of the selector moving on it's own, if fact I highly doubt it could have done that since it's just a electrical switch. I have moved mine by accident when cleaning the dash and not notice it until starting the truck and driving away.
I use them frequently, my only complaint is that shipping usually takes away any savings over my local dealer(and is sometimes outrageous i.e. air bag sensor with $38 shipping?).
