... I can tell it by passes the thermostat as the clutch will say engaged as long as there is power to the #87 wire. I would have liked to fixxed it correctly, but it's working now so it's all good. If I was to try anything else it would be to replace the in dash control panel. Good Luck.

You could just use the RR WPR fuse in the interior auxiliary fuse panel. If I remember correctly, that should be on the ignition switch. Not sure if that would send to much juice to the amp though... for the remote it just needs to be 12v, its just a relay in the amp ...
