Big 3 Or Bigger Amp Power Wire

... Would I get rid of my problem if I went to a thicker gauge, or is it better to just do the Big 3 upgrade? Oh, my truck is a 2012 SIlverado crew cab if that helps with anything. Thanks.

Re: Amp Install 2012 Crew Cab

Just finished doing the install and decided upon placing the amp below the rear passenger seat. Ended up picking up some industrial strength velcro and using that to hold the amp in place. There's enough slack in all the cables if I end up changing my mind and placing it behind the rear passenger se...

looking to fit 295/70/17's with level, suggestions?

I have a 2012 GMC sierra 1500 crew cab and I am looking at putting 295/70/17 Kelly Safari TSR's on it. Any leveling kit suggestions that won't rub? I was looking at the TGC 2.5 or the RCX 2.5.

Re: Amp Install 2012 Crew Cab

That seems like a dangerous spot for an amp. I would be afraid that it would get kicked, stepped on, or something would get spilled on it. I have mine under the rear seat on the passenger side. I have a jl stealthbox so it leaves about 1/3 of the floor space below the seat usable to put the amps the...

Re: Amp Install 2012 Crew Cab

Keep the ideas coming!! :D Lots of options now. Took some time tonight to remove the front passenger seat and the rear single seat to give me easy access for pre wiring and such, and thought of one more placement of the amp. Here are some pics of the amp in the 3rd spot I am thinking of. Any thoughts?

Re: Debadge and Demold Roll Call

I'm going to ask a dumb question here.....Has anyone noticed any color difference where their moldings were removed? I have a white 09 crew cab that I am thinking about demolding because the moldings are starting to yellow slightly, but I don't want to pull them off if you can tell a color ...

Re: Amp Install 2012 Crew Cab

I agree with the clear silicone holds for years but can be removed if you ever sell the truck.
