... AFM on all three V8 engines. On the 2013 Chevrolet Silverado the 4.8L,5.3L, and 6.2L have variable valve timing. Only the 2013 5.3L has the active fuel management. I'd consider dumping a can of fuel stabilizer in it as well. Some of the newer gasolines turn into slops real fast.

1991 silverado won't start

... but I have an engine question for a 350 tbi. The engine turns over I have spark verified at coil and plugs with an inline tester also have fuel as verified can see it injecting through tbi. Sometimes the engine will start but runs like hell it hesitates and stalls like it is lacking power ...

... familiar with your specific set-up, but i dont imagine it will hurt the throttle body. but they probably ran the coolant thru there to keep the fuel at a stable temp. removing the coolant will probably result in higher TB and fuel temps. probably a bigger concern with the hot summer weather ...

New wheels and tow mirrors installed

I just bought a used 07 5.3 V8 Flex Fuel and after 3k miles I was 1qt low. Next oil change same thing. My dealer says its normal. Being this was a used truck with no warranty, any suggestions or things to do or see if Dealer would do?
