Re: Rubber mat covering radiator?

... put it back in its place. Also for heating troubles, make sure the coolant is full, do check and or replace thermostat. Also can try flushing the heater core with a garden hose and try to get out some gunky buildup that has no doubt settled in over the years. Good luck.

Re: Heater problem and question

I think coolant must still make its way out the one hose and back in the other so you can not have a kink in the hose.

Re: 2003 Silverado A/C and heater question

Thanks! Seeing how this generation truck has enough electrical issues as it is, I hope it is just the control panel. That would be a sweet easy fix!!!! A semi-related question.....the compass/temp in the rearview mirror works sporatically. As in, it will work when it wants to, and then flash jumbled...

Re: 2003 Silverado A/C and heater question

Since your a newbie and building credibility within the site, apology accepted, now let's move forward... If the primary control unit is bad and not relaying proper information to the system, you would get the same results. If I were you, I would possibly go to a junkyard and see if you can pull an ...

Re: 2003 Silverado A/C and heater question

While I wasn't trying to "flame" anyone, I suppose it did come across as such and I apologize for that. Does the HVAC system have a sun load sensor or something of the sort? I have had other vehicles with the automatic climate control and they did have something of this nature and if this ...

Re: 2003 Silverado A/C and heater question

So far you have broken two of our site guidelines/commandments: The SilveradoSierra.com Commandments For reference: #1 and #3. When I said "Could be the electronics??", that meant it could be anywhere in there. If you want me to be specific, please bring your truck over, I'll be more than ...
