tried bcm ...no start ! .. turned out to be a corroded fuse (in under hood box) I beleive it was the TCM or TBC fuse... woudl never know until I removed it and one tab broke off.. it corroded in the plug ... Oh well.. Now I know how to bypass GM passlock system.. ...
... (Battery) Black ..... to ..... Gray (which gray is a dimmer not ground :x ) I changed all the blown fuses in the driver side panel and under the hood. There is a few missing tho, ABS, Airbags and rear de-fog. Would one of these be powering the panel lights? Thanks - Brandon

... it was the tech filling it up, or he didn't fully let the oil drain/filled it with 6 new quarts and you end up with 6.5 maybe? Ask to pop the hood on another new truck on the lot and check where that is/show them it shouldn't be over the full mark? I don't like the idea of the oil being higher ...

Truck looks great! That's a pretty cool Fathers Day gift. I've had a "bug deflector" on, just took it off to clay bar and the hood looks like brand new underneath. It's AJ@auto anything that can get you a forum discount.
AVS has a deflector that is moulded to the shape of the hood, I'm going to get one and paint it to match. That way it won't look like its there and will both protect the hood from more scratches and hide the ones already there.
... everything in about an hour and a half. They have their skills honed almost systematically. I did notice a couple small rock chips on the hood, I need to figure out what to do about that to prevent further chips. I saw a commercial on Powerblock yesterday that was a clear protective spray ...
