I preferred to do mine in white plasti dip, Its a perfect match and flows alittle better than black on white. Would look good if you did you emblem in white to break up all the black.

Mine is about the same I called and ask about it and didn't really get to far . My bulkhead panel ( front ) is also appears to be cut a little short ( narrow) in width. I have somewhat learned to live with it .
