... tail pipe. The main problem is... NO ONE CONTACTS GM AND COMPLAINS! It would be a simple matter for the service tech to get into the program and modify it to remedy this problem and all would be well. The Service manager apologized and told me his hands were tied because GM would not let them ...
... straight 6 with 6 speed m/t) as my weekend and track thrash (also satisfies my need for 3 pedals). Have been given the green light by the mrs to modify the truck, so research and questions may come flooding in, sooty in advance for that. Couple of pics that I posted up in my suspension topic ...
... Bear. It is not licensed for me to create tunes, don't think I need the power to screw that up anyhow. Justin will check data logs I collect and modify a tune to fit, email it and I can download it with the handheld. It will also read and clear codes. Once purchased and set up, Black Bear does ...
... has worked out great so far. It folds down when you need bed space yet strong enough for interstate driving on windy days. Although I have had to modify a few things to make it stronger. Thanks for the advice, yea i know asking for good MPG and then buy a 2500 does not make sense and is a dream. But as long as anything i put on the truck doesn't make my mpg worse im okay with that. The only change that im really worried about is a leveling kit and bigger wheels and tires.
There are dealers that modify their trucks and cars as soon as they get them, they sell them that way. I put my exhaust on at 350kms, and the levelling kit was installed before I picked it up, it was part of the deal.
As far as changing the oil on a brand new truck, I would just go with my gut on that. I normally just do the old 3000 mile thing (or as close to it as I can get). As far as mods, I wouldn't put that bully dog on there until the 5k break-in. You say you want to save gas? Buy a Prius...not a 6.0l 2500...
