More than likely the intake gasket is the source of the leak. The intake gaskets are known for going bad. He should be able to get most of the oil out of the cooling system, but, there is no way to get it all out. What little will be left is not going to hurt anything.

They are changing the value covers to the updated ones and cleaning the carbon. Will see if they are putting the oil deflector on or not in the next day or so.
