Re: Sierra 2WD, have to ride brakes a lot, rotor/pads opinin

... hill, especially on a gravel road, no guard rail, and it's a winding road on top of it, simply dropping it in first and crawling down, isn't an option. I've gone down some hills where, I should be able to put it in second, and maintain a good enough speed to not use my brakes all the time, but ...

Re: Understanding Rev limiters and shift points

... the diablo intune, then purchase the custom tune from lew at a later time. That would atleast give me some sense of security, knowing I have the option, rather than using a hypertech that everyone says is not worth it for the money. The other down side is I am losing out on another $40 for the ...

Re: My Observations after Owning for 3 months

I tend to agree with you. in the old days there was no option menu. now there is and i wish i could change every option in the car. but then there would be 100 options and no end user except those on this forum will want to use it.

but i wish it had as customization as my phone.

Re: shorty vs full length headers

... (shorties) and some mufflers that you like the sound of. Midrange and high end HP and torque will increase moderately with a good tune. Tune is optional, but beneficial. For louder + significant low end torque loss, go with long tubes + cats and some mufflers that you like the sound of. Midrange ...

How to view your smart phone on your head unit.

... what about the USB hub??? The HDMI-to-RCA converter does not need much power to work, but it does require some. The one I purchased gave me the option to draw power via USB or from the wall. I chose USB. Instead of running your USB cable directly to the USB port on your dash, run it to a hub ...

Best place to buy new UCA's or Ball Joint spacers?

... silverado and I am having the diff drop done next week and would like to install new UCA's to give more clearance from my bump stops. The other option I've thought about is some type of lift knuckle to extend where the upper ball joint connects. Anyone know of what I'm talking about? if so, ...
