... model truck NBS = New body style, refers to the 99-07 model GM trucks W/T is a model of truck by GM, where as NBS was a n acronym made up by GM owners, I personally don't like it, because, what are we going to do in 10 years, call them NNNNBS. It's starting to get a little ridiculous.
... I keep reading they're not very easy to work on so you have to take it to the dealership to get it repaired when it breaks. I guess all the F*rd owners became too great of mechanics cuz their trucks keep breaking, so F*rd had to do something to make money off them :lol:
I bought mine with just over 100 k and it didn't have any wear on those hoses, when installing my headers I had to pull that bracket; when I reinstalled it I bent it to better fit the natural flow of the hoses and zip tied the hoses to the bracket to where they cannot move around and haven't had any...
My owners manuel states replace eng. oil and filter every 3k. I switched to Mobil 1 oil and went to a larger oil filter. I still follow the 3k service schedule. Pretty sure it says to follow the OLM. Regardless, 3,000 oil changes ...
It says in the owners manual to remove the fuse(68) if Aux battery is installed.Would this have anything to do with where the red/black wire would go(on the post or to the aux battery)??
... in? According to my manual the 4.8l don't come with 4.10 gears. If it does have 4.10 the manual will give you a ballpark figure. This is what my owners manual states. This is from a 2013 owners manual 4.8LV8 (b) 3.23 2 132 kg (4,700 lbs) 4.8LV8 (b) 3.73 3 039 kg (6,700 lbs) Yeah I put the 4.10's
