... lines and great thing, started hearing noise out of my brakes on Saturday so when I got to a gas station out of the rain took a look and seems the pads had worn down more than they should have in a short time - took a walk around the truck and discoverd something interesting. When my wheels are ...

Re: 2009 CC LTZ 5.3 Brakes not sure which direction is best

Ending up going with the yellow stuff pads and factory ultra premium rotors from ebc...needless to say they have a lot more bite than the my old pads did....a bit more brake dust than I expected but overall the stopping power is justifiable ...

Re: 2009 CC LTZ 5.3 Brakes not sure which direction is best

EBC makes really good brake pads. I'm planning to swap everything to Powerstop rotors and pads. At 59K, my truck needs everything.

Where possible, I like to go all new with brake parts - MC or calipers. There is no reman of friction materials.

Re: NHT Max Trailering Package Brake Wear

Cool. I tried some pads & rotors from Advance Auto on my 2006 & wasn't too impressed with them. On my vette I went all GM parts so I'll probably stick with that when I do my 2009's

Re: NHT Max Trailering Package Brake Wear

Oh ok. I just put brakes and rotors on mine. It has the Max package. I bought some Duralast rotors from Autozone and bought Duralast pads too I think. Nothing to it

NHT Max Trailering Package Brake Wear

I'm curious if anybody with the NHT package has changed the brake rotor's/pads yet. My 2009 still has a lot of brake life left & I do tow with it. Just curious about what you saw/purchased/would do differently. Thanks.
