OEM (Looking) Navigation

... here to detail how everything pops off. The unit comes with a couple bundles of wires but for the most part everything is mated with male/female plugs so that you can't hook it up wrong. However, there are two sets of input/output wires with the same plug so I just flipped a coin and picked one. ...

Re: Why did you buy a Silverado over brand X.

^those spark plugs are designed to break without a special socket lol. Any engine work to a ford is miserable... they're overengineered and there's not much stellar about them.

Re: Why did you buy a Silverado over brand X.

... My neighbor as an F150 of the same year and I think his interior is 10x nicer but...his generation of F150 has problems with the 5.4 eating spark plugs...literally they break off! The pre AFM 5.3s seem to be pretty bullet proof. However I don't think I would have regretted the ford either. Once ...

Re: Bought New OEM Tail Light .. Reverse Light Plug Doesn't

But this new lens and harness has the 3047 bulb ... Would that matter? Are the harness plugs still the same and the change won't cause any problems?

Re: Bought New OEM Tail Light .. Reverse Light Plug Doesn't

... the bigger regular 3047 bulb) and buy a new (used online) lens with the complete wiring harness intact ... will it fit my truck? Are the harness plugs all the same regardless? Keep in mind this lens and harness I'm looking at has the larger 3047 not the smaller one like I currently have ... that ...

Re: I,m confused PLUG GAP

Just as a side note, I wondered the same thing when I was installing the Denso Iridium plugs in my 2003 5.3L. I sent an email directly to Denso tech and this is the reply I got back. FYI for everyone in a similar situation. I installed them at the preset .044" ...

Installed DDM HID's today

Well I thought I would post up some pics of my DDM HID's that I got in today. They are the 35W 6k kit. Install was a breeze, just plugs in, mounted the ballast with double sided 3M tape and ziptied the wires alittle. Its a pain to have to take off the grill and what not but not a hard job. ...
