while the headers are getting done, i'll be having the entire exhaust system redone. I was thinking about shorties just because of the price, but more low end would be pretty nice. I think i'll just have to save up a little more and long tube. Thanks for the input.

there has got to be something going on that you aren't aware of that is making this happen. i'm wondering about the MC "sticking" and causing the front calipers to ride the rotors and heat up as suggested. though unlikely, everything about your problem is pretty unlikely.

I'm pretty sure that you're not going to see a gas mileage change with removing the valence. Even if you do it will look so much better that it won't matter
