Re: Exhaust Beware

I don't think I'll have a problem getting a refund, either from MBRP or from AutoAnything. Big question is what to buy next. I'm not that worried about sound or performance. Again, I want a comfortable ride and efficiency, that's it. What ...

Re: Exhaust Beware

... but I wouldn't recommend it to anybody much less take money for it. It looks and sounds good, when it's not rattling and when you're not driving. Problem is, most people buy Silverados to drive them. I got a quote from a muffler shop in Pascagoula Friday afternoon to install a factory system (cut ...

Exhaust Beware

... Single out bolt on system from AutoAnything. Through these boards, I had read that it was a good, deep, relatively mild exhaust. Wrong. First problem is you have a drone/resonance in the cab. That is poor design and its based on frequencies and there is nothing you can do about it. Second ...

I'm diggin the bumper spot for the tank. Only problem is that my compressor lead hose is so short and no way to lengthen it so they have to stay close.

Re: Draining torque converter

I have always dropped the pan replaced the filter, then put about 5 quarts of new fluid in and then did the flush procedure. I have never had a problem doing it that way. I guess it could work either way though.

HELP! Steering wheel rubbing sound

I have a very annoying noise coming from my steering wheel. It sounds kind of like a creaking noise. I'm pretty sure it's coming from inside the cab. Has anyone else had this problem?
