I'll likely get a lot of flack for this, but I find the 4.8 to be a more reliable engine then the 5.3. I mean it has the same DNA as the 5.3 (just smaller), but it doesn't have all the problems I see the 5.3's are having (i.e. oil consumptions, and AFM) and at roughly 25hp /35ftlbs ...
... whats the pro's and cons of each? any noise difference? any input is helpful. Also i'm thinking of doing true dual super 10's, coming out in the same location as they are now.

I feel the same way.... People like jeepers that dont run fenders or run those flat fenders are the worse offenders.. but then they fail all the time cause for 33" tires and tires sticking out,. If you really want to lift ...
