Re: Understanding Rev limiters and shift points

... the HP drastically drop off. meaning you are going to rev higher but are not getting any gain out of it. that is offset if you have the 4 speed since the gears are wide enough for you to want to hold it a bit longer so that when it down shifts its in the sweet spot. however the six speed ...

Re: Exhaust Beware

... can put you in a worse position than just being bored with your current setup. I dread driving this truck right now. It's a pain to maintain a speed and if there's anybody around, they can hear the metallic rattle and lub-lub sounds. All I wanted was to improve mpg and I have a 1 year old $42k ...

Re: 2003 SILVERADO 4.8L QUESTIONS??

... then the 5.3 (at least in my '12) it's not that much of a difference, easily made up with some small mods. I do kinda wish the 4.8 came with the 6 speed thou. At first I didn't want it, but now I think if it had it, the truck would be phenomenal on gas.

Re: Towing Travel Trailer, What Settings Should My Truck Be

So to clarify ... keeping it in regular Drive "D" is better then running it in Manual 5 or 6 right? (I have the 6 speed tranny)

Leaving in the morning and want to make sure I use what is best for the truck and power.

Thanks so much. :)

I hate; people that do not use turn signals, people on phone swerving, truck nuts, slow drivers, people who have a line behind them and refuse to speed up to the speed limit on straight 2 lane roads, LEFT LANE VIOLATORS on freeways, snooty biches who don't pay attention where they are going, people ...
