Re: 2012 Silverado LS 4x4 DIC

No, it's wired to the DIC. You'll need to add another temp sensor for the new mirror. DO NOT ATTEMPT to splice into your existing sensor wiring and use it. You'll get erroneous temperature readings (like off by 40 degrees). Just ...

Re: 2012 Silverado LS 4x4 DIC

Re: 2010 silverado door lock

I'd take a look at all your wiring in the door, particularly where the wiring goes through the rubber hose at the hinge area, might have a break in the wire. I'm not sure exactly how that circuit is wired, I'd have to see a schematic to be able to point you in a better direction.

Re: Pioneer AVIC Z140, Front and Rear Cameras by ONEighty

Congratulations on the 2013, and the 150BH. You're gonna love them both. I wired in an aftermarket BU camera to the reverse lights wire in my trailer harness for power, and just ran the video wire into my cab. Sounds like you have a factory BU camera... If so, ...

Wired into tail light .. they instruct you to wire into the wires that light up the backup bulbs, and the camera pops on automatically when you engage reverse - and I finally got the shit working.. phew.. works good too :)

Thanks!
