05' silverado 4x4 Lift?

05' silverado 4x4 Lift?

Postby D RUSS [OP] » Apr 19 2011, 3:14am

New the the forum. I recently bought a 2005 Chevy Silverado Z71 4x4 with 45,000 miles on her. I am looking to lift it 2 or 3 inches and was thinking about doing a suspension lift. I was wondering anyone new anything about Tuff Country lifts? Was also wondering how complex this would be to do on my own. Any advice would be helpful.

Thanks

If you've never done any suspension work, it will be complex.

my rough country lift actually came with step by step instructions, even with pictures. but it did take about 11 hours.
i wouldn't recommend rough country tho. ive rode in superlifts and fabtec lifts. i really like their ride. hope this helps

if you wanna get a good deal for not alot of money..try a leveling kit. They look really nice for what they are, plus they are pretty easy to do
Crap, my hampster fell off the wheel and it broke its leg.

thanks for the help. Last night I found a kit which comes with front replacement torsion bar keys and rear add-a-leafs. Also has an option to buy new shocks Bilstein 5100 for $460. Was wondering if any knew if the Bilstein shocks were a good shock or if I should stick with the stock shocks?
