2" Readylift Leveling Kit + 50% Zone Lift Kit question

Postby Jon4130 [OP] » Jun 26 2012, 3:31am

So I bought a 2" zone Offroad Lift Kit( 2" block in rear, under coil spacer in front), and after installing the rear already, I realized that my truck already had a Readylift leveling kit installed on the front( spacer over coil, and 3/8" spacer under coil) - I want the truck to ride level after its all said and done... Which at this point it will again be 1.5" high in rear if I left it currently...

What do you guys think about replacing the 3/8" undercoil spacer of the Readylift with the +- 1" zone lift in order to get a total of 2" in the front to match the recently installed rear?

Also, I have a ranch hand grill guard on the front, and their rear bumper on the back - grill guard probably weighs 150#, and probably helps the cv angles

Unknown to a lot of people, It does not take a full 2" spacer to lift the front end 2". My Rough Country front spacers for the 2" leveling kit are only 1.040" thick and give you a full 2" of lift. If you add another 1" spacer, you will have almost 4" of front lift. Doing that would be bad news, cause terrible angles causing cv, ball joint, and tie rod end problems.

If you want it level, put the OEM rear blocks back in and loose the bottom front spacer. Don't attempt to lift the front any higher without correcting angles. Onlt way to do that is with a full lift kit and relocation brackets.
