2006 4x4 1500 rough ride

Postby John Begin [OP] » Jan 11 2011, 5:10am

My 2006 4x4 1500 silverado fels like it is riding on the stops. It has 78,000 miles (60% freeway) stock suspension and shocks, 2nd set of tires. I've have notice the ride is getting extremely harsh, due the front torsion bars wear out? It does not seam to be sagging and the shocks are not a pogo stick yet it feels like there is a 100psi in the tires when there is only 35psi. what is wearing out to cause this terrible ride.

Please Help.

Respectfully Yours

You mentioned that the shocks are stock. Does that mean they have never been replaced? If they are the originals, that is where I would start.
By the way, welcome to the site!

Did the problem start after you changed the tires? Are they low profile tires now?
