2015 fox 2.5 coil over review

Thanks for sharing! This will be my next mod for sure. I'm sure you did lots of research before getting these. Any reason you got Fox over say Icon or King? Any downside to the remote reservoir coilovers other than a slight upcharge? Thanks......Ed

Very nice. Looks like your buddy already did what I want to do. Since you have experience with the 2.5 and w the reservoir, is it worth the extra money? I litteraly put 8500 miles a year on my ride. Like all the write ups and advice you have. Glad I found this place. Do you recall his tire size, don't remember if I saw it. Thanks again for all the info.

His are 33x12.5x17s with 0mm offset. And no if that's all you do (its all I do in a year) I wouldn't spring for the extra money. When ever he wants to go off road he has to adjust them, and then adjust them back stiffer when he gets back on a paved road. Where the normal 2.5s are adjusted to a happy medium. I also wouldn't spring the extra cash for the 2.0 rear shocks. They perform just as good as 5100s or these, that provide more travel in the rear Skyjacker M95 Monotube Shocks

And I liked fox because they are a well known company that aren't going anywhere, so when they need rebuilt (every 50K) I know the parts will be available. and were slightly cheaper, I think I got my front set for $1100 with a discount from liftkits4less. I also had zone UCAs on my last truck, these cognitos are much nicer.

Quick update after running them all winter in the salt. I coated them with ACF50 in the fall, took some degreaser and water and all the salty grime washed right off. The coating held up much better than I expected. They look new again. Image

Did you run into any strange noises or vibrations after install? I took advice from your threads and just installed the Fox 2.5 reservoir, 2.0 rear, Cognito arms and the differential spacer. They ride fantastic, but several problems have developed in the last few days. There is a knocking from the front left when going over washboard type bumps, sound like a blown strut on a old sedan. Also when in 4-Hi there is a grinding moaning noise. Dealer who did the install is stumped. Seems to think its the pinion angle, but can't explain the knocking noise.

Any ideas?

I have had zero issues. Are they cranked to 3in?

Crank them down a little more. How are your angles?
