7.5" rough country lift

7.5" rough country lift

I own the RCX 7.5 kit. Nothing Wong with it. Nothing wrong with the kit. You just have to cut the lower stop out of the upper control arm bump stop and a tiny tiny bit on the front cross member. I have had this kit for just over 10k miles and have not had one issue. Sure every one says that you max out the upper ball joint. Well so does every other basic kit. Of you put a pro comp next to the RCX they are identical kits. So honestly do what you want but I enjoy my kit and I'm glad I didn't spend more just for a name.Image

I'm not convinced on the RC kit yet. Your truck looks great, but I have heard too many bad things about the kit. I've heard nothing bad about the other higher end kits out there. I also don't think cutting up your truck is a good idea either. Wouldn't that void any warranties you had too?

Hello there. I have this lift on my 07 Silverado and i like it alot. I installed it myself and had no problems with the installation. There is cutting and drilling but not to much. You have to cut the bump stops off of the frame to allow room for the new knuckle to travel during operation as well as cut the frame a little bit to alow room for the new crossmember. You also have to cut the tie rod about a half inch to align the truck after you put the lift on. I am very happy with this lift and i would recomennd it. I have about 3000 miles on the lift now and have had no problems. Let me know if you have any more questions about this lift. It is not the best lift out there but i think its good espically for the money. Hope this helps you out a little.

How come??? They are not that bad, I have a 3" BL and 2" LK, easy as pie to do I did it all myself in 8 hours, well wife would hand me a tool but thats it, Nerf bars will be hiding the frame and 35" tires are next as well, I just wanted an cheap way to fit larger tires on my truck, I never go off roading, so the body lift was for me! Heck even my old Dakota had a BL in it
