Postby adams99z71 [OP] » Feb 18 2012, 4:05am

seems like my torsion bars are a little worn out.. wondering what everyone else's ride height is? mines 36 7/8" front and 37 3/4" rear measuring from the ground to the fender.

My 2005 rides at 36.5" on the front (center of the spindle from the ground to the bottom of the fender opening). Never measured the rear. I only have 34k on my truck.

The torsion bars are the front springs on his truck. You have one or the other, not both.

torsion bars wont change nothing...i noticed you have the airbag load leveling too wich could be his difference in his front and rear heights depending on how he has them adjusted.

nicks93hotrod- your thinking about torsion bars not torsion bars lol. the torsion bars on our trucks control the ride height up front. right now i have the airbags off as to not interfere with my adjustments.

aste25- thanks man, now i can stop searching for new torsion bars lol

I'm not sure what you are trying to say. His truck has torsion bars for the front suspension, not the coil springs.

Looks like you have yours set even higher than mine, since I've got a slighty larger tire than you but we have the same height. Spend your money on something more exciting that a set of torsion bars. lol.
