so in effort to save for the wedding i thought about just tightening up my torsion keys that are already there.. and my boss says i shouldn't need an alignment if i twist both the same amount.. but i just bought new tires i might get one to be on the safe side... so the big question is do i buy some keys off ebay or keep mine?? i hear it would make the ride tight but what does that mean? and if i get a leveling kit online do i get just keys? or keys n struts? i have a 2000 silverado and i see info on the NNBS not mine
Anytime you adjust your keys/ torsion bars you need to get an alignment. New or bigger keys only mean you can go higher than stock keys buy you still have to realignment...
ok you never answered my question.... should i use stock keys? if i buy some off ebay do i need just keys or i seen some with ubolts and some with struts ect
You can turn up your stock keys if there is adjustment left, new keys will just let you further up if your out of adjustment on your stock keys. And if you go past you stock key adjustment you will need longer shocks up front because they will be maxed out at that height.
