You just need to measure and see what height you need.

Really good info here. My only question is, will a 2" even out the front perfectly so its level? Or is it more then that.

May be a dumb question but I'm new to this..lol...if I get a 2" leveling kit and am towing a load...will the rear end sag? Would you also recommend putting a 2" block in the rear?

Yes if the load is very much it will sag. You have a few options to remedy this. One being airbags. You can use an add a leaf. Or add a bigger block.

Well this made my mind up. I need new shocks and was debating on a lift or leveling kit. After reading this, I've decided to go with the RC Full leveling kit for $200. bucks, can't go wrong. Thanks

Hey everybody, I'm new on here and new at putting a lift on my truck. Is there any certain parts that i have to use to keep my warrantee? A lot of people said that if i start doing stuff to my truck it will void the warrantee. I am just looking for suggestions on what to use to lift my truck and keep the warrantee if i can. I haven't decided on the type of lift yet. i just want my truck higher than than it is and be able to fit 33" tires with 20"rims. Any advice would help. Thank you.

BigCountry...Without looking too much into it, you should be able to add a leveling kit greater than 2" to accomplish the feat in which you seek.

On a side note, you can really do anything to your vehicle that you want. The problem lies with what the dealership is able to prove vs. what you are able to contridict. For instance, if you have a problem with the injection system, they would have to prove that the addition of an air-raid CAI was the cause of the mishap, or if your leaf springs start to creak, they would have to prove that a leveling kit caused them to start squeaking. Of course, so many people are simply intimidated by the service advisors that they don't fight them on what they say. Believe me, I have met many service advisors in my lifetime that don't know shit about the our trucks. They hop from one dealership to another like jumping beans; each brand of vehicle is different (ever-so-slightly) They may as well just be reading from the GM cue cards because they mostly use the same lines and excuses verbatim.
