Installed my 2.5" leveling kit today. Pics....

Postby nitrox28 [OP] » Aug 14 2011, 5:36am

A friend and I installed a 2.5" CCM leveling kit today. It says installation takes less than an hour. It took us 3, and my friend builds rock crawlers for a living. The instalation was pretty straight forward. I LOOOOVE the way it looks! I got an alignment after the install. Good thing I did because the front end was all out of whak! :) Here are some pics:

Looks clean been kicking around the idea of just doing a 3.5 inch lift and going with 33's instead of the 7.5 with 35's

i have the superlift 7.5 lift with 37's, it is a giant compared to standard trucks, 3.5 inch lift with 33 would look really good. i plan on going down to 35's. the 37's are heavy and alot of mass to get rolling. 33's would be a cheaper tire too for when it comes time for replacing them

You can run 33's with the leveling kit. My buddy does on his 2011 Silverado with no rub and I will be getting 33's on my truck when I buy new tires.
