I hear ya it was the only part I had trouble with was getting the lower strut bolts back in once I installed the spacer on top

hmmm... if i do it myself i have an 6 or 8 inch c clamp i bought from harbor freight can i just use that instead of buying the key tool?

yes you could use a c clamp you will have to cut the end off the c clamp so it will fit into the key.... or you could take the lower ball joint apart and let the lower swing arm fall down it will take all the pressure off the key than, than use a floor jack and jack the lower control arm back up in place after you install new keys
