I'm really liking lilmagoo's suggestion of these: http://www.ntwonline.com/National-Tire- ... -c-64.html
Now I just have to decide on either the kit with the new upper control arms and ball joints or the one without... I wonder how much need there is for new control arms and ball joints for a 3" lift..

There are a number of threads asking this same question, but i havent seen an answer that adequately answered it for me.

Lower mount kits like RC pre-load the front shocks right? is this a concern for life of the shocks and ride?

Upper mount alter the angles? Are these corrected with an alignment?

It seems most people opinions on which is better center on cost. But if cost was the same and installation difficulty was equal, is one truely better than the other?

I have the bottom mount RC kit and yeah i'm not going to lie the reason I chose it is based on cost. I've had it on for about 8000 miles and no trouble from it. As for ride I haven't noticed any change in it.

either one give you the same amount of stress on the vehicle....the only thing that takes away from the stress would be the bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks....because it changes the center point of where the shock is attached to the part...not being pushed up or down to give you the angle you need to create lift...but either of them will take some range of motion out of the suspension
