Lifted Silverado with Stock Tires

Postby KMF Silverado [OP] » Sep 12 2013, 1:22am

I am a very impatient person, and I am wanting to lift my truck before my bigger tires come in. I am either getting a 3 or 4.5 inch suspension lift, and I was wondering how that would look with stock tires. I wont get my bigger tires until late October so I will have to drive with stocks until then. I have Goodyear Wrangler AT's, 30 inch tires with 18 inch Z71 rims. Anybody have pics of their truck or somebody else truck with 3 inch or 4.5 lift on stock tires?

If its going to look too stupid, I guess I will have to develop some patience and wait till the tires come in.

Just tell folks you are waiting on your bigger tires.
Heck, mods take time and $$$$'s
Can't do it all at once, it's a process, an evolution of your rig...

LOL and you can't really do the tires before the lift so I'd say go for it!

I'd go for it. 2 months really isn't that long and you will thank yourself in the future. Do the lift now and get it over with so that when you do get the tires, you won't be overwhelmed with doing the lift and tires all at once.

I agree, this approach will REALLY make you appreciate new tires too!
Only other option is to buy the bigger tires now and hold onto them until you need new ones and then install the lift.
