Pics of lifted new body style trucks

Postby farside1 [OP] » Oct 02 2011, 9:35pm

If you have lifted your truck between 2" and 3 1/2" could you please post some side and front pics of it and say how high it's lifted (between those two heights)? I'm trying to decide what a lift like that would look like for a 2010 Silverado. I don't want to go any higher so I'm not really interested in seeing the huge lifts, sorry. I'm also staying with 20" wheels, just want tires with a thicker side wall and know they wont fit with the trucks stock suspension. Just want to give the truck a "better" profile.

Also if you have had any problems or noticeable ride quality issues once the truck was lifted I would GREATLY appreciate hearing about that as well. The jeep my wife used to drive had nothing but problems with it's lift (death wobble!) and don't want to put the money into the truck that way if it's going to screw up the ride/handling or cause any problems with the alignment over the long haul. I know my fuel mileage will suffer.

The pic is how the truck looks now. Planning on changing out the wheels along with the tires (going more AT type) when/if i lift it.

Many thanks in advance.
