Not a good idea if you still plan on going off road.

Swap bars really only help while cornering. It takes the pressure from the wheel being compressed on the outside of the turn and directs the pressure through the bar to the oposite tire that is drooping down and puts more pressure on it to maintain grip. Unless you were doing a lot of fast sweepers with your trailer you weren't going to get much of a benefit because it sets neutral while driving in a straight line.

Since sway bars remove some body roll, I would imagine it would reduce the articulation your vehicle has off road.

Re: Rear Sway Bar

My 2006 Sierra 1500 2WD Crew Cab, with the coil springs in front, has the 1 7/16" front sway bar, and it really handles well. I just installed the poly end links, and the poly mounts should arrive soon. The end links didn't do much, but the mounts should help a litle bit. This truck handles much better than my 2008 Sierra 1500 2WD Crew Cab!
I was considering the rear bar as well, but I would like to hear some positive feedback first.
