Rough Country 3.5" Lift Questions

Postby firemedicts6m [OP] » Dec 08 2011, 2:28pm

Ok, so I have decided that I want to go with the Rough Country 3.5" suspension lift on my 2011 GMC Sierra 1500 XCab 4X4. I'm going to get the kit with the upper control arms and ball joints, as well. I am wondering if I can get away with running stock tires and wheels for a while, or if that will look stupid. I have the factory 20" rims on my truck, and would like to use them until I can dish out the cash on new tires. If I can't run the factory tires, what size should i get?? I dont really want a wide tire, but something a little taller than my stock tires. I dont do much off roading, and just like the looks of the lifted truck. Thanks for the help!!

You can run stock tires and it shouldn't look TOO bad because its only a 3.5" lift but you will want to go bigger in the future.
