ALright guys I was very productive on my beautiful friday off. I installed my superlift springs on the rear of my truck replacing the massive fabtech 6 inch block. Install difficulty 3/5 the passenger side was cake in and out in 15 minutes. the driver side however took some enginuity the forward mount is right against the gas tank and the proper installation of the forward mounting bolt is from a hole on the inboard side of the chassis which is blocked by the gastank. I took the skidplate off of the gas tank still no go and was contemplating dropping the tank until my neighbor suggested that I lay underneath the gas tank disconnect the straps and hold the tank up and shift it to the right my truck had 3/4 tank of gas so we did the math it was around 150 lbs the fuel itself. it was actually pretty smooth I unbolted it with my sweeta** Dewalt 1/4 inch impact gun took the straps off held it and shifted it over my neighbor pulled the bolt out and I tacked the tank back up. It sounds like a total clusterf**k but overall was easy once we figured it out. Now onto the good stuff. The springs ride amazing compared to the stock springs with the ginormous lift block installed. and they are truly 5" lift. my rear sits almost exactly 1 inch lower than the front which is what I was going for the "SoCal Pre-runner look". I am very satisfied with my purchase now only question is longevity. If there is a problem believe you me Ill make sure everyone knows I m a firm believer in holding people/companies accountable for services or merchandise that they sell to all of us "working folks" hope you guys enjoy the read!
