Thump noise in the front end

Hello everyone, lately I have noticed that there is a thump noise going on in the front end of my 09 Sierra. It happens occasionally when I apply the brakes. It is coming from the drivers side as far as I can tell. Any thoughts or ideas?

Ball joint? If you have a leveling kit check where the uca meets the frame. I've seen alignment shops leave them loose causing noise.

I brought the truck into the shop today. They couldn't find anything wrong with it. Everything on the front end is solid. My brakes are in rough shape, the rotors are warped. They said that it may be possible that I have a brake pad shifting. I am going to replace the brakes and rotors in a couple of weeks. I guess we will see if that fixes the problem.

Just got my new front brakes put on last week. I still have that noise in the front end. Too weird. Guess I will have to live with it. At least I know its nothing major at this point.
