who is making the best lowering kit for the new silverado's? I'd like to keep as close to stock ride and drive characteristics as possible while lowering it 3-5 inches....

Look into mcgaughys and belltech parts, 3" up front you could run 3" drop coils or 2" spindles/adjustable belltech struts and for the rear you could run 5" flip for 3/5
