i just put a 6" fabtech suspension lift on my 01' chevy 1500 silverado.
everything went really smooth the truck drives and rides excellent, however there is a noise that is coming from under the truck it almost sounds like a brake dragging although i have jacked all four tires off the ground and it still makes the noise so i have eliminated the possibilities of anything in the front end so i am confused.... ive tried alot and have fallen short

Welcome to the site.but not to sound redundant. did u try to spin ur tires one at a time to see if you could reproduce the sound? It may be something tire related, could be a bad hug, a squeaker on the pad sticking as well..just a thought

like i said i had the truck jacked up up in the air i am pretty mechanically inclined ive tried most everything you could think of. i know its nothing in the front end but thats as much as i can say and the thing is, is that i swear thats where it sounds like it is coming from i kno sounds travel but dang!

i cant stress enough that im very mechanically inclined void out all of your easy possibilities ive checked them this isnt my first rodeo. the brakes are not dragging this happened the second i put the lift of the truck....

is it your wheel bearing? lol. how do your brakes feel? any vibration or pulseating? i think i know the sound your talking about i hear it when im on the freeway driving next to a barrier which makes the sound more audiable to me. is it louder when the suspensions loaded like after hitting a bump in the road?

no the brakes are fine, when i press the brakes it does not get any worse or any better im bout ready to drive it off a cliff lol or jus let whatevers wrong with it blow up and fix it then lol
