well i went to hook up my trailer to my truck and when i plugged in the connecters together nothing work on the trailer so when i did a test i wasnt getting power from the reciever connecter it self but when i went further back in the wiring under the truck i noticed the test light showed power so i cant figure out why i am not getting power from the wiring from the reciever connections them selves
Do you have power at the first connector before the trailer plug ? if so I would have to say terminals are most likey the problem. . Spray them up with some contact cleaner or WD 40 even.
Check all your fuses in the fuse panel (engine compartment) make sure they are good and moving power from one side to the other.
