Don't know what I was worried about

Don't know what I was worried about

Postby OlSmokie [OP] » Jul 20 2011, 4:14am

I bought my truck because,
A: I love the looks of it,
B: Good chance I helped build it
C: It was a "Barn Fresh" truck in mint condition
I just wanted a reliable daily driver, but a very good freind of mine who owns a landscaping company made me an offer I couldn't refuse, so I rented a U-Haul trailer and made the 700 mile round trip, in this heat, to bring back a ton and a half of pavers for my front walk, and this 21 year old Silverado did not even break a sweat. Gotta love Chevy trucks. They DO get the job done.

Nice! That thing looks almost perfect. How many miles on it and what engine?

Thanks. It's only got the 305 in it, but it is a loaded truck. It has air, tilt, cruise, windows, locks, etc. It just turned 100,000 miles and has never been winter driven. That body and paint has never been touched and the owner(s) before me, I'm the third, would not even sit on the seat without puting a towel down first. The seats and carpet are like new. I'll take some more pictures and post them as soon as I can. This was the previous owners baby, but he lost his job and was in dire need of money. I heard about it, and as soon as I saw it, I knew I had to have it. Twenty years from now, I hope it looks the same.

It came with the original wheels and when I had a new stereo put in, I made sure that nothing was altered in any way. Other than that, it's just how it rolled off the line.
