Hooking up my brake module

Postby sd08sierra [OP] » Sep 07 2011, 3:33am

So i have an 08 Sierra CC 5.3 4x4, and am trying to use my old Prodigy brake module. I used to drive an 06 Titan without the big tow package, and all that i did with that was find the harness, buy the wiring... plug and play! Well, im having a little bit of trouble with my GMC. is there a harness that i can buy out there , just goes plugs in to my Module and ill be good? Thanks for the help!

I am not sure on the 2008's you'd need to read the owners manual or look under the dash on the drivers side. If you see a set of wires taped up there with a label saying what is what then read the last two posts in this thread Trailer Brake Controller. If 08 is before GM dropped the under dash plug then you can get a cable with the appropriate plugs at each end and save yourself some time.
