This isnt your typical how much can i tow question, I was thumbing through the manual for my truck, 2003 2500hd 4x4 CCLB 6.0 4.10 gears, and was a little disappointed in the tow rating. 9,600 lbs max trailer towing. That's it?!! Man that kinda sucks. Am I reading that right? Are the newer trucks more than that? Anyways just wanted to share that with y'all. Have a good one.
My 2012 2500HD, CC, standard (short) bed with 3.73s is 9,400 if I remember correctly...but the 4.10 ratio jumps the current model to around 13k...it probably has something to do with the different trans and increased HP from your model to the current model.
