First I've heard of a torque converter leak. Great that it's under warranty.

Glad it happened under warrenty and the dealer took care of you. That 500 dollars didn't even factor in labor, that would have been a pretty penny. A slightly higher stall converter would have been fun to swap in while they had it open though.

Well the truck was back at the dealer today as I noticed the torque converter was surging and slight shudder at 80km and tach would go up and down between 1300-1500prm....when I picked up the truck they told me their tranny guy confirmed TC was slipping 200rpm and 89%....so I was told the part was on order but will take a week or more...they would call when it arrives and will put in a couple hours. The thing is I dont tow are anything...this is my daily driver...180km round tip and 98% freeway driving, I did have the dealer flush my tranny just over a month ago....could this be the problem?? and I almost think its started surging not long after that...[possible dealer flush could harm the TC? or mabey because they used a remanufactured TC? also the KM on my truck now is 110,000km
