Some times when I am hard on the gas getting on the highway between 60 and 70 my tranny shifts 3 times! almost feels like its slipping? also when I am starting from a stop sometimes it revs to1200 and then catches and drops back down to 800 and takes off. any guesses on what it is

lol, yea I know it will be going in. I just work a horrible schedule never know when I am going to get off. just trying to get an idea on what it could be.

Anything from low fluid to failing/failed solenoids inside the tranny. Have you checked fluid?
How many miles?
Do you tow/haul?

Fluid is good. first and only thing I could think of. 10800 miles. only towed one time and it was only a bass boat, not heavy at all. honesty i baby the truck don't accelerate hard at all.

Hi. I was asking dealer about my 2011 silverado tranny. There is a computer update that will help with the shifting. They did that with mine and it doesn't shift around on the highway like it did. Also, dealer told me that the computer reads our driving patterns and sets the computer to your driving pattern. I had mine set back to "start" because I was driving like Mario Andretti testing out all my mods. It takes about 1,000 miles to learn your driving habits. Hope that helps.

Yep, mine was constantly shifting. I let my Dad drive it thinking I was just over reacting and he noticed it to. BTW, I had only 3K on mine tranny. Took it in, they updated the software and I was ready to go.

Been having the sane issue with my 2011 also. Thanks for the heads up on the computer update!

I thought it was just me being to sensitive, only had a Dodge the last 10 years.
