I'm not even sure if either engine was offered with a manual trans in a 2WD Silverado 1500 or Sierra 1500, but I'm hoping someone knows, and if so, which years?

I know gm offers the NV4500 5 speed in the 1500
ZF six speed in 2500. I think they still offer that in 2010.

I wasn't so interested in WHICH manual trans, the simple fact of one is enough. I found a great deal on an '01 LR4 for my old car, which won't have a 4L60E. Since a stick-shift tune from GM is available for use as a starting point, I'll go ahead and get the engine. Thank you.
