What are you running right now? Are you running stock tires and rims?

What size tire are you planning on going up to? What's your current rear end size, 3.23?

It's stock which I believe it is the 3.23. I would like to get get 35" on either a 18" or 20" rim.

With running stock tires, going from 3.23s to 3.73 you will notice a big pick up in torque off the line. You will have to say goodbye to the mpgs you are currently getting though. But once you get 35s, you'll feel like you've got your old 3.23 rear end again. If you want to get more pull off the line with 35s, go with 4.10s in the rear, but don't count on ever getting good gas milleage with that set up, even with a V6.

Well there's 2 options you can choose.
1.) Buy the ring and pinion off of some performance company (Ex: Summit Racing) and find a local shop to install them. Parts (Est.): $200 Labor (Est.): $200-$400
2.) Have the shop order the parts for you and have them install it for you. Total (Est.): $400-$800

It really depends on a lot of things, who's doing the work, and the quality of their work. To be honest prices are based upon where you live and who you know. Usually when you buy the parts yourself, you get a better deal than what the shop will charge you, but the adverse effect of it is, the shop will charge you usually more for labor if you don't order the parts through them.

The best thing is to talk to friends, co-workers, family members, or your local shop to see if they know anyone that is will to do the work for a good deal.
