4wd noise

Postby Brendon37 [OP] » Feb 03 2011, 3:19am

When I put my truck in 4wd and I turn left or right it makes a straining sound. Is this normal?
Me-" I don't make it rain, I make it hail. I'm a baller on a budget!"

Stripper-" Ouch was that a nickel!?!?!

Are you driving on dry roads? You may notice some 'strain', but it is normal. You really don't want to use the 4wd unless you are faced with slippery conditions and it allows your tires to spin slightly.

Here is a link to a thread already started regarding 4wd systems

Hope this helps.
