I dropped my truck of at the GMC dealership Monday night for a Tuesday appointment to have the Front Diff and driver's side axle looked at. After calling 3 times tuesday to check on the status, I found out they never pulled my truck in the garage "too busy". Wednesday around 2:30 pm they called stating that yep my front diff was leaking oil and I did have a tear in the CV boot on the axle. (DUH). They ordered parts so they could fix it the following day (Thursday). Well around lunch time I called to check the status and hoping I can finally take my fixed truck home. "Sorry man, no all the parts showed up, we'll have to reschedule for next week" "Oh and did you know the CV doesn't just come as a boot, they're sending the whole axle as one part" DUH again. Not happy with that dealers service department. I should've got a tank of gas and or a car wash for their screw up and me without a vehicle. This work is covered under warranty. But still not sure if this will fix the 4x4 moaning.

Yea I mentioned it to them. I took it in so they could fix the front diff seals and replace the axle and also mentoined the moan.

Sounds like the moan has now migrated to the inside of the truck. J/K.
