my 4x4 has been acting up whenever i have had to make any kind of sharp turn (pulling in and out of drive way ext.) however it seems to work fine when i am driving in a straight line or a wide turn. It almost feels like is jaming or disengaging. could use some help any suggestions?
4 wheel drives do this normally, they have to find a place to send the torque and the binding and you feel it when steering, it will feel like binding and hard to turn/ feel sluggish... most of the time this is normal. i assume you are NOT doing this on dry pavement in 4wd?
You shouldn't be turning sharp on grippy surfaces with 4x4 engaged for this exact reason.
