so i own a 96 chevy 1500 and since i have owned it, i have had a little trouble with the transmission. it shifts hard when driving it for about 20 minutes without stopping. it only has 110,000 miles on it and my grandpa spend a good bit of money to get the transmission done..

so heres why im posting this.. does anyone think that the valve could be sticking or worn?
and when i checked the fluid, it seems like it could be overfilled.. could that be a part of my problem?

thanks in advance..

Wouldn't hurt to change the fluid and refill to the proper level. Then if you are still having an issue, at least you have eliminated one suspect.
