Yes, GM has had the problem on varous models for years. Basically the driveshaft binds on the slip yoke at the output shaft. GM used to have some special lube to put on the slip yolk as well as a special nickel plated yolk.To fix my '04, they installed a nickel yoke. I'm sure somebody on here can post a copy of the bulletin. I hope this helps.
